Robotics

Club Description: The FMS Robotics team competes throughout the school year in the Chicagoland VEX League.  Students work with their teammates to design, build, test, and code their robots to complete a set challenge and compete against other schools in Saturday tournaments.  This team gives students the opportunity to build coding and STEM skills, build relationships, and collaborate with other students.

Meeting Information: Meet in room 307, if meetings are canceled it will be announced in our Schoology group and on announcements.  Members of the team are expected to attend as many meetings as possible (let Ms. Auld know when they have a conflict) and come to all four of our Saturday competitions. 

Meeting Day: Every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:20-4:30 until the end of March 

First Meeting Date: Our season is already in progress, but if you would like to join you can talk to Ms. Auld to see if there are openings.

Club Description: Our chess club is all about getting people together to play the game of kings. Whether you are experienced or barely know what the pieces are called, there’s a place for you. We play chess and are able to hang out in a welcoming environment.

Meeting Information: We will be meeting in Mr. Roberson’s room Mondays after school until 4:05.
